ECE has a long history of supporting diversity to welcome all children & families in the classroom. This objective of intentionally teaching empathy, kindness, open-minded & compassion is known by other names, including DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion). In this class we explore new words used to describe an age old idea: supporting all children’s rights to equitable learning opportunities.
