Working with families undoubtedly can bring up sensitive issues and challenging experiences. This
workshop dives into the basics of effective communication for building strong connections with
families and specific strategies to de-escalate stressful situations. We will also practice ways to
promote wellness for both our families and us, which may prevent upsets before they happen.
