Focused child care networks are cohorts of 12-15 providers grouped together by shared attributes and demographics that meet with the shared goal of increasing the quality of their programs. As a part of a network, participants will:
Learn about upcoming professional development opportunities
Discuss the application of new licensing requirements
Work on SPARK portfolios as a group
Solve problems and issues with their practice
Show Tangible Improvements Through Personalized Network Participation

Speaking Child Care providers
Benefits of a Monthly Meeting
Each network meets once per month with their peers to talk through difficulties they’re having, share experiences and solutions, and problem solve as a team. These monthly meetings are:
Efficient: Monthly meetings are no longer than two hours to respect participants’ busy schedules.
Accommodating: Whenever possible, meetings are held after 6pm to accommodate provider schedules.
Relaxed: We’re not all business! Meetings include time for connection and socializing so that providers can connect with peers.
Transparent: Every meeting has an agenda that is sent to participants in advance so you always know what’s going to be talked about.
Connected: Meetings Include relevant community partners depending on topic so that you can learn from and connect with local sources of support.
