How teachers characterize the experiences of disabled people form the foundation of children’s knowledge and beliefs, often this perspective is centered on weaknesses or deficits. In this training participants will implement a strengths-based view of the foundational beliefs about and responses to disability, casting it as another variation of what it means to be a human focus viewing human.
